sort of off topic, although I'm sure some people hoard beauty products. Anyhow I'm watching Hoarding: Buried Alive. And again I'm struck by how some of those folks live in absolute filth and squalor, with pet urine, feces, bugs everywhere/rotting garbage/ used food containers and dishes covered in molded food etc. ad nauseum. in the episode I just watched, the bathroom sink and tub were BLACK with filth and the floor was knee high with, among other disgusting trash, used feminine products. HOW is failure to maintain personal hygiene or to clean up after oneself, considered "hoarding"? Once in a great while you see a show where the person mostly just "collects" items, (lots of it just junk), can't stop, and can't let it go. But isn't necessarily living in filth, mainly just buried by "stuff". I'm more mystified by the people who don't care about cleaning, hygiene or basic sanitation. Do you have any thoughts on this?
