hairstyle feedback please!

I showed this style on another post but would like to get more feedback. I am 70 with mostly white hair that was in a pixie cut. This was great years ago when my face looked young. Now I look like a short old lady. I am letting my hair grow out to the picture below. This is the first step to see if I look younger with this hairstyle before I bite the bullet and go back to coloring my hair. The question is -- what do you think of this hairstyle and do you think it would look good with mostly white hair -- or would I need to color it a dirty blonde with highlights?
