As another poster suggested you need to lance it. You can get hundreds of sterilized lancets at Wegmann's or on some facial/skin web sites. These little lancets are a Godsend, I wish I had them when I was still breaking out, (I had to wait till 50 to stop breaking out) would have saved me alot of embarrassment and slight scaring. I use these on my teenage son who get these deep blemishes.

I was just looking at remedies for cystic acne. Just google it. There are tons of great tips that are natural and probably in your pantry. I used tooth paste over night and have significant reduction in size and will do more tonight. I've also done the baking soda mask today and several applications of apple cider vinegar. They are so much smaller and less red today! My hormones seem to be bringing these out since I just got off the pill and let my hormones return to natural.

The universal NO NO is do not lance it/pop it. That can cause serious scaring and not solve your problem but build a serious infection on top of it.

If you've ever ventured over to the "weird part" of YouTube by mistake, chances are you've see the lancing of cysts & boils or spider-bites gone bad. IknowIknow...it's like a bad accident you can't un-see (!), but it serves as a lesson NOT to DYI. SO much can go wrong. I think I got a little dizzy just reading all this! Leave it to the professionals.

This does not sound like a milium. It will shrink and disappear on its own. If not, then see a derm. But under no circumstances should you put a needle of any kind to your face.
I have had some luck with using a bit of benzoyl peroxide on a cyst like this.

I once had a painful cyst in my armpit. Doc gave me antibiotics, said lancing would just be a good way to get it infected.

I get the feeling like little to none of these people are in health care.
There is something to be said for the confidence it bring upon you.
You don't see a podiatrist every time you get an ingrown toenail.. do you? This poses an even greater threat than the cyst on your face. This could go on and on.

What are you talking about?
I'm not in health care, so yes, I have confidence in the fact that I know better than to take a needle to my face.
