Ulta has the dpHUE Gloss+ and Glossy Glaze for a deal today.  I have never used either product so I am asking all the hair girlies for some help.  If I am reading correctly, would the Gloss+ deposit  more color??

If it has a color, yes.  Not sure if dpHUE has just a gloss that doesn't deposit color. You will want to make sure you get it evenly through your hair or it can look splotchy, and you'll probably want to wear latex or nitrile gloves to keep it from staining your hands.  It will not cover gray though.

I've tried them and they didn't work for me.  Too much work for a little payoff. I have tried the clear gloss and the color.  Definitely no gray coverage when I used the color that matches my hair which was the dealbreaker for me.

THankyou.  That is what I wanted to know.  I would want the color and my grey is so resistant to color.. Its a  pass for me i guess...

Yeah, it was an issue.  I had such high hopes and it was disappointing.

@Tori3569 Did the clear give your hair a nice shine?

Yes, it actually did.  I kept it and finished the bottle.  I would use it after coloring my hair at home.  When I go to the salon, they use a gloss in my color (they use Aveda everything).  The dpHue actually looked better.   I only stopped using because I hate coloring my own hair---it's a messy disaster 😹

@Tori3569 Thanks for the response!

I just ordered it and I'm hoping for a nice shine.  It's a good deal and I only need the clear right now.

Pureology now makes a glossing product that I plan on trying next time I'm in Ulta or decide to order.  I'm guessing it's a similar product since they also have colors.  Probably costs more too, but I'm kinda partial to Pureology.

I have the colored dpHUE but never use it since by the time I need it, my grays have grown out.  When I bought it, I was losing my red more quickly than I seem to be doing now, so it was worthwhile, but a hassle to try and get it even.
