@qualitygal I'm not sure anything other than a topical cream can help w/ dark circles. I always recommend trying a peach toned corrector under concealer to help the dark areas and then can eliminate using too much concealer.
Hoping this helps you.

@Desertdi ---Yes I think she did too--I have bags under my eyes that nothing works on --was going to get them "fixed" this year as a happy 70th bd gift, to me from me--but my DS is getting married in Sept so giving him and my new DIL ----my "baggage" $$ for a honeymoon. Maybe next year![]()

Thank you for these product recommendations. I have struggled with dark circles forever. And I have very fair skin, which I think makes it even worse.

My 2 cents worth....I know nothing about makeup. Reading this made me think of something my daughters doctor said that may possibly be worth mentioning. My daughter has mild asthma and here and there throughout the year when she would have a flare up and her doctor would mention the dark circles under eyes. She referred to them as "allergy shiners."
just throwing out the possibility dark circles could be allergy related.

Isomers makes a Vit K undereye serum too. And yes, Haloxyl is a proven ingredient to help with dark circles, it is in many eye creams.

@Oldfshndhomemaker allergies certainly cause my dark circles. Spring and summer allergies are the worst. Concealer does help but not completely. I also have hollows under my eyes. The struggle is real!

I have a large dark pigmented place on my nose as a result as a small cancer being removed. I have spent many many $$$$ trying to find something to cover it. I know about laser, but I don't have the funds---it takes several treatments to work! So, do you think this haloxyl would work on lightening my "brown nose"? LOL And yes, I wear sunscreen! Thank you!

@DesertdiWant to thank you for recommending Baby Face. As you said improvement does not happen overnight, need to use for at least four to six weeks but it has helped so very much with my dark circles. Still have slight bags but can handle that so much better than dark dark circles! The product is more expensive than drug store brands but just need a tiny amount twice a day. Not greasy and absorbs quickly.
Thank you again @Desertdi

@2sisters - Allergies are definitely the culprit for my dark undereye circles/bags. When I lived in Colorado, I hever had dark circles. Upon retiring in Texas, I couldn't understand why I suddenly woke up with dark bags under my eyes! What has really helped is Westmore Beauty 60-Second Eye Effects. This is the only undereye gel that doesn't "ball up" in the corners of my eyes later in the day. It completely lifts my bags; the darkness is much improved, but not totally gone. I definitely look much more awake and refreshed after applying this gel. I also take a (non-drowsy) Claritin tablet most mornings.
Darned if my eye bags are gone every time I visit Colorado!
