Sorry to bring this up since there is other topics on this. Anyway i really need someones advice on the color of foundation to get in this TSV. I am fair/light with cool pink undertones. Can't do much yellow in any foundations. I tried the light in Tartes powder foundation and it's really yellow. But the fair looks very pasty and white. Any advice? Thanks so much.

I ordered this kit in fair, and the foundation and color are great on me. I am light, but with yellow to neutral undertones. I don't think this is as yellow as some, but it definately does not read cool or pink on me. I have always worn the fair in any of the tarte foundations I've tried. Others can run more yellow than this. I would not call it pasty. I don't know if it's in combination with the primer, but I love the finish and wear on this. I do use a different brush than the one provided tho. To be honest, I've not even tried that one.

I use the Amazonian Clay foundation in the fair right now and it is the exact same color as my skin.(maybe even a tad bit lighter)

I will be self tanning in a few months so I will darken up just a bit. Does the Fair in this primer and foundation seem darker than the AC foundation or do you thin k the light would be better?

I've heard in multiple cases that Light and Fair both have yellow in them. It sounds like they both would be too yellow for those of us with pink undertones.

Mine arrived last night in Fair. I swatched it against my other favorite foundations (Bobbi Brown Porcelain, Armani Luminous Skin #2) and it appeared almost totally neutral/beige. Slightly cooler than BB, WAY cooler than Armani. Similar depth to both, so like NW/NC15 in MAC. Reminds me of Laura Mercier's Blush Ivory shade.

I'm fair with neutral undertones in my face, and a very warm/yellow neck. I usually need a warm foundation to get a good match and cancel out the redness from rosacea I tend to get on my face. I'm wearing the Tarte for the first time today and I do wish it had more yellow in it, but it's do-able for me.
