Thank you for this! I like the Clarisonic, but the fact that you have to replace the heads (which are so expensive) kind of sucks. I've switched over to the Foreo.

you are very welcome jbko,

i just wanted to share something that will save more of us money.

i am right there with you on spending money on replacement brush heads.
i would be cool with buying 2 a year, but 4, is a bit much.

i am happy that you posted that you have a foreo.
i didn't know about that brand until after i purchased the pop sonic, maybe a month ago.
i bought it to reduce the number of clarisonic brush heads that i have to buy.

it will help me meet my goal of not buying as many brush heads

in general, i like it, but am not giving up my clarisonic.

using the pop sonice through one cycle (until it shuts off) doesn't get my face clean, even though i don't wear makeup.

but neither does the clarisonic.

the pop sonic and foreo, look similiar, but i have no idea if one is better then the other

can i ask how you like your foreo and if you have given up using your clarisonic totally, or are you doing what i am doing - switching off between the two. i am trying to remember to use the pop sonic the first time i clean my face and the clarisonic at night.

hello,

i just went looking for a brush head and saw that the auto replinishment program is 25% off for life, including the brush head that you order now. this isn't for all brush heads. the link is at that top of their home page. the offer is good thru 1/31.

even though i signed up in the past for sales, notifications, etc.
i get some emails and not others, including not getting an email on this one.

i'm curious if anyone received an email about this? from what i read on their web site, the brush head promotion/discount started on jan 1st

i did order a brush head on auto ship.

ps. there is also a sale on their cleansers when you buy a brush head. only  thru 1/17.

for me, every dollar that i can save for retirement is a good thing! (smile)

@iwrite  Sorry to give you bad news about my experience w/ auto ship with these brushes. Most of the time the brushes never came at the scheduled intervals. Other times, the wrong brush was sent. I spent too much time calling/emailing and after a year, I gave it up. The discount was not worth the aggravation.

oh boy shanus,

that isn't good to hear. first, i am sorry to hear that your auto ship was so problematic.
i did set it up to come a month before i think i will need it, so only time will tell, if they have improved the process. maybe i should change the ship date to 2 months before i need it.

if i have the same problem, i may have to get a few knocks off to hold me over. but i will say that i don't want to becuase i don't know whether or not, the unit has been calibrated in any way to not work as good with knock off's or worse, somehow the knock off's hurt the unit somehow.  and since the mia 1 & 2 are discontinued, i wouldn't be able to get another one.

i saw nothing with the new model that would make me want to purchase one. especially because i can't imagine that i would have a need for any future brush head that they come out with. i guess i am old school, in that i only want it to clean my face.

i remember years ago seeing knock off mia's on A, so i guess i should not be surprised that it was just a matter of time before the brush heads had knock off's also.

what i don't understand is how the knock off brush heads can use "mia 1", "mia 2", etc. i'm going on the assumption though that those words were trademarked. maybe they weren't.

my "guess" is that some knock off's may work almost as well because it's the unit itself that causes the brush head to pulse/move. but some part of my brain says that somehow knock brush's may not "move" the same way as the real thing, if that makes sense

on the other hand, i am right there with people that can't always afford almost $30 per brush head, hense why i bought a pop sonic later last year, so that i could switch off between the two and reduce the # of brush heads i have to buy each year.

got me curious, so i just went to A and looked for some. i did see one deep pore knock off that claims to be non porus and made with dupont bristles. i don't recall the real ones making that claim.
