bare mineral brushes

is it normal for the brushes to shed little bristles? I buff my face and have little bristles left behind on my face, they cling and are so small that I can't see some of them. But they blow from a breeze and tickle the heck out of my face. Very annoying.

Anyone have the same problem, and a solution?
