I actually enjoyed depotting my shadows and arranging them into palettes.  And it was so satisfying to throw away all of the little compacts from singles, duos and quads.  I got rid of so much clutter.  I also use more of my shadows on a regular basis, because I can see what I have without having to dig through a bunch of little compacts.
