Hope I'm not offending anyone, but she reminds me of a drag queen. Too exaggerated.

I was thinking the same thing @cindyNC. Maybe she/he? is.
I don't know.
Do you know @San Antonio Gal ?

I don't like when the beginning of the brow is too prounounced and rounded, and starts too far apart. I like it when the color is a tad lighter at the beginning of the brow. It's hard to explain.

@rms1954 I agree. It seems like it would involve your brows, bone structure, etc. I like to keep mine as full as possible but the basic shape is the shape. Seems like it would be a lot of consistent work to try changing that.

I have a gentle arch and like a more natural look. You have to work with what you're born with.

@San Antonio Gal Those are McDonald's arches.

IMO, this lady's arches are way too high. I think it's a fine line and wherever your natural arch is, that is the best look for your face frame. It's a good question for @Shanus but in my experience of having microblading done, they actually measure the dimensions of your facial bone structure to determine the perfect placement. Especially for people like me who's brows never returned after chemotherapy.
@LindaSal Hello @Shanus to give my opinion. The picture where the brows have a high arch IMO looks very unnatural and harsh....also aging. So are brows that are too thin.
My brows are similar to @SilleeMee , but a bit thicker. I only tweeze them underneath and a bit between, stray hairs only, and never on top. Luckily, my brows are still rather thick, straight across and no arch and only a few grey ones that I dye.
If you check YT, there are videos on "brow mapping"....holding a thin pencil on top of nostril and make a mark straight up where brow would begin, from nostril to pupil of eye and make a mark, nostril to where eye ends and mark.
I like to fill in brows with powder first to create the look of a shadow under the hair and soften a pencil or a brow pen strokes on top. Cheat the end of the brow by filling it a bit shorter than where eye ends and be sure to tilt it up and out a bit to continue the line of the brow. No downward facing brows.
If your brow has a natural arch, fill it from underneath only to create a youthful look. I also use 2 shades of powder and 2 shades of pencil. The beginning of the brow is lighter until mid-brow and then I use the darker shade to fill in middle to end of brow. I also like to emphazie the bottom of the eyebrow by sketching in a line to shape brows and draw attention to eyes.
Once brows are shaped, filled in and stray hairs tweezed (I had this done for the 1st time several yrs. ago and posted a pic here), take a selfie so you can follow the finished shape created by the pro.

My eyebrows have never needed shaping. The left one goes to a rather sharp angle down just at the outer corner of my eye, the right one doesn't have as abrupt of an angle.
I just tweeze any stray ones and help the outsides with a little pencil. The only thing about me that has received this advice: "Don't do a thing."
And of course it's eyebrows! Of all things!
