I stay away from MLM like the plague. Buy one mascara and they'll get you and before you know it you'll be in your friend or family member's "downline" and find yourself buying hand soap and detergent and cleaning supplies (or whatever other upsell products they sell) and trying to get your friends to buy from you too. It'll be the only thing you give as Christmas gifts because you won't want your sales to go down and drop into a lower "tier" with worse discounts. Bleah! I've seen it happen to such nice people.
