Nick Chavez presented his July special. The host, at the end of the presentation, said exactly what is written above. She is giving us this free product. She doesn't know what else she can do (because) she's just one woman. These statements were illustrated with frantic gesturing and throwing up the arms in fake desperation, emphasized with a feigned withering/collapse.

Is anyone on QVC giving you something? I pay for the selections they offer, often more than a price offered elsewhere. Never before has a sales clerk taken credit for GIVING me the enticement for a sale, ie travel sizes, samples etc,

Ok, now I know what you're referring to. I actually had the Q on in the background, although this host is one I can't normally watch due to presentations like this!

You're not imagining it or exaggerating the moment. She was completely appearing to take total credit/responsibility for the "free extras" on this particular item. At the beginning of the presentation, she opened with how the full size pomade and travel size pomade equalled the purchase price, so the full size and travel hairspray were both essentially free with this purchase!!! What a deal!!!

No kidding.

I'm sorry, but for a host to stand there and claim that she is personally responsible for giving customers free product when that is not the case is, in my personal opinion, unprofessional at best and completely unacceptable.

As viewers we have a right to complain about claims that are clearly not true.

Oh please, let's be reasonable. Everyone except you & including Shawn knows darn well that she is not responsible for the freebie. The hosts have claimed things that are clearly not so, but this is not one of those times. Shawn was not truly taking credit my friend-she was just being silly. ~smiles, SnowKita

I disagree.

Just 10 minutes ago I was watching the Vionic inserts presentation (turned it on since my son has overpronation and I saw them on Items on Air), and she said about the set, and I quote " So I encourage you please, this is as cheap and as awesome and as easy as I can make it"

She was not being silly in my opinion, as she wasn't laughing, or otherwise giving the appearance of being anything less than serious about Vionics, something she was clearly heavily interested in.

Most things I can take with a grain of salt, and just laugh about. This isn't that case.
