I found an app called YUKA. The free version you scan the bar code of your beauty product and it comes up with an analysis of the ingredients and rate bad, poor, good etc. what an eye opener. Products touting as clean are not and others are outright dangerous. I know there are other apps which i have but this is so easy to use.

I follow a TikTokker who use this app. Tons of people in the comments say the app is not accurate.

@MG Chris    Why is it not accurate, do you think?

Thanks!

I LOVE this app!! It rates from 0-100, shows you color coded scales in where the ingredients fall be it green, yellow and red and point blank telling you if it is Bad or Good to consume,   I use the free version and I scan everything especially the foods I eat.  It tells you specifically what is in it that is bad, explains why it's bad, to what degree (shows a scale of if it is on the high end or just barely).  Then it will give you an alternative product similar to consider.  It has been a game changer for me.  Highly recommend it!!!

I use Yuca all the time. Something surprising are the beakman fragranced soaps are considered really bad.
