I picked mine in the spring when the wild violets were popping up in people's lawns. The purple flowers are so beautiful against green grass!

Hi!  I'm "Vandyfan" because I am  HUGE Vanderbilt Commodore fan here in Nashville, TN.  I've been one since I was 9 years old.  I am a retired public school music teacher and I now substitute.  The kids have such a good time when I wear my Vandy football jersey with all of my autographs.  It is a good talking point when we discuss how important it is to learn to write beautifully.  The players usually scribble their names!!

Mine is ChouChou, pronounced shoo-SHOO, with the accent on the second syllable. My grandmother spoke French and all of the grandkids and pets were her ChouChous or ChouChoutes, if female. A little stray kitten appeared at our door and we named him ChouChou. He lived to be 18 years old. We loved him and still think of him a lot.
