I realize this is HSN related but does anyone know what happened to YBF cosmetics? I really enjoyed Stacey (sp?). I loved when she would start with nothing on her face and step by step she would apply the different products then you would see her finished face. I thought her line seemed very successful.

I still use her eye brow pencils. I did not try any of her make up, but I also enjoyed how she would start off with a fresh face and rollers and work through the products that she was selling to show the finish product.

Kim Graville (sp) reminds me of her.

I have no idea what happened to her line.

Her products were some of the best and very affordable....I have found some of her products on Amazon.

Wow.. I'm surprised...

.. Stacey Schieffelin (of "YBF" ("Your Best Friend")) isnt selling on "the other (H) channel" anymore??? . Surprised at that.

. . . I esp liked many of her products when she sold under "Models Prefer," (before all that mishegoss, that was going on ...

. . . then she changed the name of her products to YBF.

. . I found her "yellow face powder" was great in coverage, & even-ing out face color, & shine.. Her lip glosses/lipsticks were nice also, IMHO. Her Models Prefer Makeup Kits were great as well. And her products always came with her detailed Instructions tucked in her products. Still have some some of these MP makeup kits, I believe...She seemed to work on synergized coloring for customers in her kits. ex "WARM," or "COOL"

.. (I didnt care for her eyebrow pencils, but many ppl LOVE, & LOVED them!

.. (I use the Avon "Glimmersticks" "Brow Pencil," & have had great luck, (I have light brows).. (at least until Avon, notoriously suddenly stops selling what have become yr own beloved Avon products.)

Good luck with using Stacey's continued products. I hope she still sells!

.. I too loved Stacey's "nude face" to "fully madeup look" presentation .. It was very novel! ... & even brave! Her transformation was even topped off with a complete hairdo!! heh

It's got to be tough competing with cosmetic giants like EL and L'Oreal. Another independent company, Carmindy, is gone from the Q as well.

Wow! I just realized that it had been ages since I have seen her on HSN.....That's too bad, she has been around for a long time. I remember her line Models Prefer! She does remind me a bit of Kim Gravel...Stacy seems very sweet-hope she is doing well!!!

I used Stacey's yellow finishing powder for years.... Back when my rosacea was really angry. Great stuff! I miss her honesty in her presentations.

I have been wondering about this too.

I went on HSN to buy a lip gloss that I have purchased from YBF in the past. I really liked it and I was starting to run out. I noticed that there were very few products of hers remaining on the site. Needless to say, my lip gloss was gone too. I ended up buying it off of ebay for a great price, so I'm happy with that.

Although I was never a huge fan of her line, I did buy some products from her here and there. I still use and love her eyebrow pencil (which is found on Amazon). When she made the switch over to HSN, I felt her products were a bit cheapened in quality, but that's just my opinion.

Like others, I have no idea what happened to her line, but I'm glad I can find what I need through Amazon or ebay. I'm assuming that the bigger name/higher end brands on HSN probably ran her out. Her products weren't inexpensive. I'd rather buy higher end at that price, so I'm sure others felt the same. I also think that possibly Doll10 had something to do with it. It seems like the line does well on HSN. It's similar it to the YBF brand. Maybe HSN chose to keep that line over YBF. Either way, I wish her well. You never know when she'll pop up again!
