My Beekman package was about 10 miles away where the handoff between UPS and the Post Office takes place. It was on the delivery today email that I get from the post office. When I tracked it to make sure it wasn't delivered while I was out, the tracking info said it was delivered to the wrong post office. Do they not use the zip code? There is a post office in my zip code. This is the second time this has happened to me. Has it happened to you?

I actually had my post office send a correctly labeled package off to a post office in a suburb of Los Angeles.  I went online, found a email address for the postmaster there, told him it was correctly addressed and asked him to send it back.  It was delivered to me in about 3 days.

Yes.   A package was sent to a small town outside my city, but still in the same county. They figured it out without my intervention, detour took about two days.

Yes on several occasions. I had a package be delivered to the docks in another city LOL...imagine my surprise. I decided to wait before checking into it and the next day the item was on my front porch. Another occasion, the item was signed for by another person in the same city and that person was honest. The package was sent back to the post office and they delivered it on a Sunday. Turns out there was a new UPS driver and mistakes were being made. Hopefully, you can give it some time and get your package soon.

Re: Wrong Post Office

@chessylady Yes it recently happened to me.  A UPS surepost package was mistakenly delivered by UPS to the post office in the next town instead of mine (about one mile away).  Because it was mis-delivered, it had to go back to the reginal USPS hub (about an hour away) and then sent back to my town.  I received it about 10 days after the mis-delivery.  Needless to say, I was not a happy camper!

This has happened to me. I had an order from HSN that made it to my UPS facility then was put back on the truck and shipped across the country. I did receive a message that it would be delayed getting back to me.

Yes, it's happened to me...the info showed up when I checked the tracking of a package that should have been delivered a couple of days before.

Yes, it happened with my Beekman order from the Q. It went from San Antonio to Schertz, TX (my post office), back to San Antonio, then again to Schertz for delivery.
