I have a friend that is very wrinkled on her face and would like to buy some cream for her cannot spend a fortune and would probably like to use at night.  What brand would you recommend?  She told me saw a person she had not seen in a long time and they told her she was very wrinkled made me feel bad for her.  Thank-you for your help.

@jezzie  I am so sorry your friend had someone be so insulting to her.  That is really disgraceful.  Maybe she should want to stay away from that person.

Maybe your friend doesn't wear sunscreen?  That is the best place to start.  I would also recommend an AHA exfoliator and a very rich moisturizer.  For AHA, I like the glycolic acid pads I buy from Amazon.  Not pricy.  And then a cream with hyaluronic acid and peptides.

None of these things will do much for someone who is very wrinkled, but sometimes subtle changes make us feel better.

I hope your gift or suggestion cheers your friend up!

I would reassure the friend that the person who pointed out her wrinkles is the one that is "ugly" and that you would rather have a friend with some wrinkles that is kind.

Well, that would be one "friend" of mine that wouldnt get a Christmas Card!  Not even a wrinkled one! Woman FrustratedWoman Sad

Not that the "wrinkle advising 'friend'" would even necessarily care.  I wouldnt want to necessarily encourage any future hateful evaluations, for whatever this "friends" reason.

We really don’t know in what context it was said. Or what kind of relationship they have.

What posters are making mean comments and directed to whom?

You didn't mention how old your friend is or what type of skin she has.  Dry?  Oily?  My thoughts are that once the wrinkles have set in, it's too late to get rid of them.  She can keep her skin healthy and happy and there are products for that, as well as eating the right foods and exercise, etc etc.   I'll always suggest Vitamin C serum in the mornings, and Retinol at night.  Oh, and that other friend who insulted her should be dropped!
