So I saw Lori G this morning and then I saw a pick of Ivanka T and maybe it's just me, but both of the women look different.

So I just assuming (yes I shouldn't do that) but just in general, how long do you have to be "home" or out of the public eye until let's say the needle marks go away?

Anyone know?

@Mistreatedbycs

I will try to find the reference article, but it seems the time factor for a face lift was two weeks.

From what I understand, a face lift takes months to really look "normal." You're pretty out of commission for a good month. Anything with cutting means downtime.

Fillers cause swelling that can be noticable for a week. Botox doesn't seem to slow anyone down at all. And I don't think needle marks are an issue. It would be super easy to hide that with a dot of concealer.

I don't think today's facelifts are like the old ones from way back when.  Like everything in medicine, there are newer techniques and instruments that are less invasive.  Fewer women have full face lifts these days, no doubt there's a recovery period but not months like in the past.  Back in the day there were obvious  stitches I believe around the hairline but I don't believe there were ever any needle marks.  I know I'd never have a facelift, actually there's no reason for me to ever go that route but you bet your bottom dollar that if things ever sag and wrinkle and droop, I won't hesitate to have somethings done to help me look fresher and more attractive.

Melania T,  Kris K,  Meg Ryan, Melissa Rivers all have obvious work done.

Calming down is a big part of it looking normal rather than plastic.

I haven't had any work done yet. I would love to get fillers on upper lip and 1 or 2 other places but I'm afraid. I was going to schedule an appointment but I ran into my Gyno at Nordstrom's. We talked about it and she soured me on it. She has had a little work done but she knew of two people that were allergic to the fillers used and they were in bad shape. I told her, I heard that the fillers were all non allergenic substances. She said that was incorrect. I don't know if that's true but I'm not doing it. I have no spleen, so it's a no for me.

I think one should have whatever they feel comfortable doing. There's nothing wrong with having improvements if that's what makes you happy. Just don't go too far. I think Meg Ryan was young and beautiful but she went to far, to fast.

They tell you.

In my observation,the face becomes longer, kinda like a "horse face".  Start paying attention, and I think  some of you will see what I see. It creates a "masculine look".

I watched Lori's show just this afternoon and I didn't notice anything different about the way she looked. She looked the same to me.
