I think it's a Japanese company, actually. If you're at all hesitant about the texture, just know that the cloth does soften up a bit when it's wet and you add your body cleanser.

I was just going to add that Salux is Japanese not Chinese. The best and genuine Salux should be purchased at salux dot com.

This is a good point, because there are many knock-offs out there that don't work nearly as well. Make sure you are buying the "real" Salux Cloth.

Were they the real Salux cloths? My info was written in English. The directions say to put the soap directly on the Salux cloth and then rub it on your body. They're machine washable and I don't remember what else it said. If they aren't the real Salux cloth I would return them.

i get mine via ebay from joie in california and they are the real deal. you can buy singles or value packs. i have used them on my face and LOVE them on my neck in particular. just apply a lot less pressure.....no need to dig in.

I have used the salux cloth for my face, very lightly though. I think that it does a good job for a physical exfoliator. I much prefer physical exfoliating opposed to a chemical.

You can use it. I have and use it with a finger wrapped in it and gentle pressure! It isn't the texture but the pressure and the face wash helps to lube it so it glides and not scratches. I'm thinking of going with a cleaning oil, so that will be even more lubricating. I also use my Clarisonic as my main washer. I use the Salux on my nose area to work the cleaner around those pores, but I purchased a nose pore brush by Missha and love it better. It works better than anything. They also have this one for the whole face I will be ordering the face one soon since I love the nose one so much. If I want extra scrubbing power I use baking soda with the cleaner and the nose brush. The brush is super, super fine and gets under the gunk to scrub/lift it out. You will have to see the pictures they advertise it with. I got mine on Amazon.

Yes, I did mean saluxshop.com. Thank you for the correction. They ship superfast. The directions are in English. I have given at least a dozen as gifts. Every single person loves them. If you have never used them before, take baby steps and use it gently. You'll gradually build up your tolerance to them. They're perfect exfoliators.
