Re: Why do we chng Face Care Protocol, when it's working?

Mine is lack of loyalty to a brand or line.  My biggest skin concern are the lines that go from the corner of my mouth down my chin.  There is no skincare that is going to take care of that and even if I could afford it, I could never see myself getting fillers.

Since I don't think anything is going to address my skin concern, I'm not loyal to a lot.  I do use the same cleanser and I always use Paula's Choice 2% BHA but other than that, I switch up all the time.  I have a lot of products I got from BoxyCharm (no longer a member) so I am working through those.  I just used up my daily moisturizer and bought something different because it was on sale at Sephora so I thought I'd give it a whirl.

Women are always trying to look younger, better, more appealing. Then you turn seventy. And you look at the sagging and the wrinkles and realize that all those miracle products didn't stop or prevent anything. You're going to look old(er) at some point. I no longer spend a lot of money on skin care products. Sunscreen, goat milk soap, a drug store exfoliant and Vit C serum..a BHA lotion once in a while.
When I was forty, I seriously thought that products could delay the aging process. Haha. Live and learn

I change my routine about every 4 months or so---have a few skincare products that I like and feel my skin needs a break from one to another. Seems to work fine for me.

And on the opposite end of the scale, I went from using two to using 10+ skincare products and my complexion has never looked better.  90% of the time I use a minimal skin tint. Today I've gone full glam but applied the Nars foundation with a damp sponge and that thins it out.

Yes, there are a lot of good and interesting products out there.  Unfortunately, some women are very gullible when it comes to beauty products and buy things that couldn't possibly deliver what they promise.

Even some of the mid-range brands create a "mystique" and, of course, people will be influenced to buy.

Or it works as long as you use the product.  I have one like that for my thinning mane....
