Why Would They Call This New?

On the Bare Minerals page, they are calling Gen nude Blonzer new, the Highlighting Blush new and loose eyecolors new. I don't get it. The new Setting Spray is new.

If it has a new item number then it shows up as new on the website. The Gen Nude Blonzer is A-705358. That is definitely a new item number. They imported the 378 reviews over from the previously listed item number to the new one.

I don't find it dishonest at all.....the reviews pulled over are from BE.

Is this 'new' to QVC?

If the configuration, colors, price etc are different than prior, it is new.

It is common practice now to pull reviews from originating sites, often with promos involved. Other retailers do it all the time.

I pretty much disregard any review where they rec'd a promo....but nothing dishonest about it at all.

Why would Jessica & Kourtney say that Complexion Rescue has never been offered in this larger size? It has, I bought it in the past.

@RespectLife The QVC website is showing it near the top when you filter BareMinerals items by "Newest First." The website is structured to do that since it has a new item number. The problem is that the buyers and merchandisers can't keep track of things. For the Loose Mineral Eyecolor, the original # is A-416882. The new # is A-705364. They are the same price and Celestine and Queen Phyllis are available under both! When the new quantity came in, why didn't the beauty merchandisers list them under the existing item number? The jewelry merchandisers do this as well. They have high turnover for buyers and the new ones don't realize the item is already in the system.

@ahoymate - Kourtney very quickly added that they haven't sold this larger size as a TSV which is true. They've sold it as a regular offering but not as a TSV.

Thank you for the clarification.

I wouldn't hold her feet to the fire if she misspoke, but clearly she did state a correction. I think we need to fine tune our hearing sometimes and not rush to judgement.
