Re: Why I'm Passing on IT TSV

Coffeebean33, I swiped the powder before I read the ingredients and did not like it. That's when I read the ingredient list. When someone comes on air and says the products are "new" I believe them. This clearly was a case of deceptive advertising. I'm happy you didn't order it and I would love to know how many of these TSV will be sent back.

Re: Why I'm Passing on IT TSV

Didn't the QVC item page for the tsv have the ingredients posted?

Re: Why I'm Passing on IT TSV

I have the celebration foundation and the powder in the TSV is not the same. This powder is a finishing powder, not a foundation. The foundation is the same, just in a compact delivery system.

The concealer is not the same as the bye bye undereye either. Consistency is totally different, the bye bye undereye is drier and more concentrated. I really think you should get your facts straight before posting nonsense.

Re: Why I'm Passing on IT TSV

I passed because I just can't get the color right in It foundation products. It seems like they run yellow on me. I wear Fairly Medium in BE Original and Bare Shell in the BE liquid. I just don't need it. I liked the lipstick color, but as stated above: I need another lipstick like I need a hole in the head. I'll try my It powder foundation products next summer when I have some color. I just got the second shipment in my BE TSV from August and I love the colors. I'm on AD for both the August and holiday BE TSVs. I love Tightline and I love It eyeliner. But I feel like with all the products I've bought in the past year I should open a salon.

She did not say that the new eye cream was the same product as the Bye Bye Undereye. She said that it was the same as the CC+ cream, only repackaged and labeled "CC eye".

I ordered the TSV but cancelled this morning after realizing I really didn't know what shade would be best because the fair and light were never shown either on television or online as far as I can tell. I also thought that the cost for what I would get was too much. Now I've used the IT foundation before and usually like the resulting look. However, this time I was very frustrated with the repetitious statements and the constant scrubbing of the face to "reveal" redness, not to mention the lack of showing all the colors on the skin and on various models. Instead I went to Ulta today and got a Tarte foundation in a shade that perfectly matches (which one can't find on QVC) and love the results. With my points I got the foundation for less than $30, too.

I kept wondering why they never showed a model in Light. After receiving mine, I can see why. It is WAY too dark. The CC face and eye are darker than the sample CC cream I have in Medium and the BBUE cream I have in medium. It's ridiculous as they obviously knew the Light wasn't right, so they just didn't show it. Now I have to send it back.

Re: Why I'm Passing on IT TSV

Well, I consider myself an IT gal, moved over awhile ago after using BE for years and then it was not giving me the results like when I was younger....ANYWAY for the last 2 years it has been IT Cosmetics. Just sent mine back and wrote a review stating the kit is a disaster. Something happened with the color. I have always used Light, this was not Light even though the packaging said so! The Undereye CC cream was so glow-y that I looked like I had eye headlights! The lipstick was not full coverage, the powder was meh. As usual the brush was amazing but back it all went. Be glad you saved your money!!!

I was really disappointed that the shade I needed was sold out by the time I decided to give it a try but based on the feedback/reviews, maybe it was meant to be that I missed out. {#emotions_dlg.sad}
