I have been using Wen exclusively for two years now, but I am trying to get the old dye in my hair to lighten. I decided to use my FC as shampoo to see if it would strip the color. It does I still use the Wen for a second cleanse and as a leave-in conditioner, so my hair is not brittle. I LOVE FC, and I will never switch from Philosophy gels and lotions, but as a shampoo...I'll stick with Wen once my hair is lightened enough to change the dye color.

I tried it a few times as a shampoo, and it made my hair like brittle straw.

Yes, I use them as shampoo every once in a while. Not each washing though.

convenient but the smell is lost when you have to use something else as a conditioner. I can't get away with it. It made my fine hair very dry and frizzy. I don't' do 3 in 1 at all any longer.

I used it while on vacation recently and I was so surprised at how NICE it was on my hair!!

I found it very drying on color treated hair.

It was like a clarifying shampoo.

Once was enough for me.

I have used both Falling In Love and Unconditional Love on my hair - because that's the only way I could get my hair to smell of those scents, which I love!

I am glad to say I had good results too. Clean soft hair with bounce.

Of course I have stick-straight hair, so the gels simply glide through, despite the general absence of silicones in these 3-in-1s!

I also tried it as a shampoo when I first started using Philosophy. It was awful for my hair! My hair was so dry I could barely get a pick and comb through it! Now mind you I have long hair and I always brush my hair before I wash it as it helps with tangles. I'll stick to my WEN.
