On page 27 of the Insider under the program guide, it says, "April 23/Tria Beauty At-Home Age-Defying Laser".

I came across a Q & A page on beautypedia.
I believe Paula was positive on the age defying Tria laser.
If you find her a credible source, maybe you can find it.

Tria replaced it with another defective unit, so I returned it. I was very disappointed and am unsure if I'd be willing to try one again.I returned mine because I wasn't seeing results. For those of you who kept the Tria face laser (not the hair removal thing), what results have you seen?
Wonder why it hasn't been back on QVC?
For those interested in trying it, mark your calendars for April 23rd. According to Insider, it will be the TSV on that date.Wow, thanks for this information. Been wanting to try this for a while since my Palovia died months ago.

Some people did, and some even continued Retin A (I was one) while using the Tria. If you search this forum there are some old threads that many of us contributed to when the Tria Laser was the TSV previously, and there is a tremendous amount of info on those threads.
ETA: The threads I am referencing are titled Tria Day one, two, etc., then Tria week ____, and continue that way.
Thank you Krissie2!
What retinol did you use and what strength was it? How often and when did you use?

I believe I was using Retin A .50 strength at the time, every other night, about 30 minutes after using the Tria. I had already been using Retin A, so my skin was used to it.There was a lot of discussion in the threads about whether this was too much for the skin at one time, with good opinions on both sides.HTH

I wonder if there will be anything new and improved about it?

I literally just finished Today's treatment about 30 minutes ago while catching up on DVR, and am now on to my NUface treatment.
I bought this at first presentation and it has been almost exactly a year since I started using it. I had followed a thread on a beauty forum for almost a year before it was available in the US. It was women from Canada and Europe that had been using it for a year or more, so I knew what to expect and what results they were seeing. I definitely knew it would take time and to not have unrealistic expectations. I know some of the women that purchased it as a tsv, returned after a month because they weren't getting huge results. It takes time, and the results and change, come during the rest period.
I had been using the Palovia for a couple of years before I started the Tria. I think the Palovia was much stronger, but I had constant red raw patches I was always covering with yellow cream.
I followed the non US protocol and have used the TRIA 7 days a week for 8 weeks on then a month off. I've followed this pattern since day one, and have always used on the highest level since the beginning. I do get redness, so I generally use at night if I am going out during the day. I only have a few light brown sun spots and it has done nothing for them so nothing to report there.
As far as wrinkles, I had a deep one on the corner of each eye, and a '1' between the brows. They have softened some. So the fact that they are not deeper after a year is a plus, and no new ones have cropped up. So it has definitely slowed the production of any new lines almost to a hault. I just started using the Philosophy miracle worker retinol pads about 3 weeks ago, and my skin is looking even better.
There were a couple postings a few weeks ago, that TRIA has a new one in the $200 range coming out, and the hope is that the TSV is that one. If that is it, for those that haven't tried it and are thinking about it, for that price point, I think it's definitely worth it. I did a google search on it, but couldn't find anything. Hope this helps.
If you do purchase, just be realistic. You won't see results in 30 or 60 days. In fact your skin may look a little worse for a bit before it gets better.
Hope this helps. I'll be watching for the April TSV To see if there is even newer technology.

5pugmom, I was hoping you'd see this thread. I know you had great success with this device, and were using it consistently.
Have you been doing the 8/4 regime continuously since you got it, or have you taken longer breaks between treatments? I am getting inspired to charge mine up and start again. ![]()
