I have noticed a few eyelashes turning white recently. I have been using Grandelash for over a year now with great results. I wonder if this is the cause, or is it just aging. I am 49 and have had grey hair since my early twenties. Any thoughts, or having the same issue?

I'm pretty sure your white lashes are from aging. Most lash-growth serums cause the hair to get darker, not lighter or lose their color altogether.

@Grouchomarx Hi! I have hardly any gray hairs on my head however I am 61 and have had white eyelashes and parts of my eyebrows for years. I believe it is age related. I just yank out the white eyelashes and cover up the ones on my eyebrows.

I have a couple too. Weirdly, my hair isn't turning white/gray yet. I just use a little mascara on them.

I figured that too, since overall my lashes have become much darker than they were before. But a little googling had produced a few articles that say white eyelashes (medical term is poliosis) has been observed in patients using topical synthetic prostaglandins (one of the ingredients in this serum) for treatment of glaucoma. Here is a link to one, if you're interested. This concerns me that if it is the a Grandelash, this problem could get worse. Or, it could stay stable with just a few lashes affected. Or, I'm just getting OLD!

I lost a lot of hair eberywhere when I was getting things sorted out with my autoimmune issues and now they are very pale and I have dark brown hair. I have been tinting my brows and lashes with decent results and it lasts about a month before I need to do it again. I use Latisse which helps with length but I'm not seeing a huge difference in the color. I will probably be a slave to mascara for the rest of my life!

@Grouchomarx I have never heard of women getting white lashes due to age. My guess is it is the product. Goggle it or go to the manufacturer for answers.
