The lip color looks to be #2 from the elbow but the tube color is more a true red.

I say it's 'ombre' using at least two shades.

@SilleeMee   I'm here. Have been with a pain in the bu*t client who insisted on a Sunday morning appt. when it's cold, rainy w/ some ice, so I made her come here instead of me driving to the office...still have 1/2 of my equipment here and 1/2 there. 

Anyway to @monicakm 's lipstick question. I achieve a similar look, which I call a "popsicle stained lip" with 2 or 3 shades of the same family of lip colors. I use a brush to do it so the last step is, as you said, an ombre look.  It's an Instagram/photoshoot look...not natural at all, especially when top layer of a vinyl type gloss is added like in the photo. 

This can be done in gradient shades of pinks, peaches, nudes, reds, magentas...done them all, but mostly for print work. When it begins to smear, come off, looks strange, so not a look for going to the mall. Hope I answered the question.

@SilleeMee   So difficult to judge colors on a monitor, but I'd guess the outer part of the lip is a mixture of the 2nd and 3rd from the bottom and inner red shade is is a mixture of 5th and 6th from the bottom. IMHO, it's achieved with an ombre effect of red/fushia/purple tones. Doesn't really matter which ones.
