Hi @mima-

Sephora carries the Bamboo formula.  Since you know you love it, why  not stick with that formula?   Everyone's results vary so greatly, I'd go with what you know works well for YOU.

Now I'm confused about the CC Cream.  Looks like there's more than one; there's the one that seems to come with the Caviar line....but doesn't look like the one posted in the "try me" kit.  But Hey!  I can't tell. Maybe it is.  Then there's another one. I don't know if they both claim to be 10 in 1 like the one I'm reading about.  Trying to figure out the differences since I think I'd like to try just the CC Cream in this line.

I use both the dark purple and bamboo Alterna formulas,with Wen rice restorative thrown in.  Love all of it.  My suggestion is to buy the trial kit to see which Alterna you like.  There's enough variety in products,so you can sample the whole line.  Let us know.  Enjoy!

If you are celiac,it is not necessary to worry about gluten in your hair products or makeup.  This comes from my GI,who is a well-known authority on celiac.  He is currently involved in running at least 8 clinical trials on the disease. I was diagnosed as celiac 5 years ago and he has never steered me wrong and believe me,he can be a tyrant!

Sorry @MIM- It was the Hemp you tried that was no longer available!

@2zbeach has the best suggestion!  Try smaller sizes in a variety of the formulas to see how they work.

Don't know where I got you had used Bamboo and loved it.  LOL Woman Surprised

@2zbeach...while this is great news, for me, hydrolyzed wheat protein in hair products makes my scalp break out and itch. Gluten-free hair products and make up are helping me.

@Funloving

I had been having trouble with my shampoo/conditioners.

How did you like the bamboo?

I have a sample of the bamboo line, but I didn't try it b/c thought I'd stop while I was ahead!

I never tried the shampoos for it is just too much for such a small bottle but I tried the bamboo heat protectant  thing and its really good. makes your hair soft. i also tried the dry oil bamboo spray  and makes my air look healthy but not ffond of the smell.

It's cheaper on Amazon plus you can buy a 60+ oz. bottle which makes it more affordable.  That much would last me a year at least.  DH doesn't use my good stuff.  LOL

I just used a sample of Alterna Caviar anti aging replenishing moisture shampoo and conditioner ( dark purple I think) and I loved it. It is expensive, does anyone know if TJ Maxx or Marshalls ever have it? I'm a little leery of Amazon, have heard there are some counterfeits.
