I've got to give it to Paula's Choice for their excellent customer service. I received an order yesterday and the Resist Intensive Retinol Serum had leaked all in the package. I called and they are sending a new one and I don't have to send the defective one back. The rep was very nice.
Is anyone using the oil and 1% Clinical Retinol Serum? I placed another order yesterday and am getting the free sample sizes of both. I'm going to try using the Clinical Retinol Serum a few nights a week in place of the Resist Intensive Retinol Serum. I'm going to mix the oil and serum like they suggest for sensitive skin. Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on either of them.

Yes, they have one of the best customer services out there and have since I've started using them years ago.
Myshell, I thought you used Skinn and Isomers (or am I confusing you with someone else?)? Also, I know you were trying the Ponds routine buttercup mentioned awhile back that she got great results with and was wondering how you like them? I know a lot of people jumped on that but no one has really posted about their results since then so I was just curious.
Anyway, I have not use the serum you mentioned but I love her moisture boost oil, if that is the oil you are referring to? It has really saved my skin from any dryness this winter. Love it.

I'm using the Skinn Midnight Elixir oil and Age Reset. The new Elite Stem Rejens broke me out:-( I doubt I'll repurchase the Age Reset because I haven't seen any results with it. From Isomers I'm using the Fast Lift Eye Serum and Glutathiosome. I'm trying out the Resist Serum for dry skin from PC (sorry can't remember exact name) which has glutathione in it. It has more beneficial ingredients in it so I'll probably stick with it instead of the Glutathiosome if I like it. I did order the last ISOMERS TTV but I cancelled it. Ponds made me i*t*c*h to the point I couldn't take it anymore. I used it on my body.
I'm glad you like the oil. I'm sure I'll probably love it too. I love most oils:-) I've been having good results with the Paula's Choice 25% Vitamin C Spot Treatment. I only ordered the sample size and it last quite awhile since I'm only treating a couple of spots on my left cheek. I thought I'd mention it in case your mom might want to try it out.

I'm looking forward to trying the oil too. They do ship fast.
What all did you order?

Good deal! They are very generous with the samples. I am sure you already know this but I'd start off just using a BHA or an AHA product, not both. See how your skin reacts. You certainly at some point can use both (not at the same time of course, lol) but you may find you don't need both and one works better for you than the other. Good luck!

Ah gotcha! I thought I might have been mixing people up. Bummer about the new SKINN product breaking you out. Is that the one with algae or something? I remember trying something from Algenist with their alguronic acid and made me break out a little too if I remember correctly. I honestly think certain types of algae components aren't good for my skin type. Weird that the Ponds made you I*tc*h-yikes! I know some were complaining about the scent being really strong but that is kind of all I've heard about it since buttercup posted.
I love most oils too. I like to cocktail them all up depending on my skin's needs but lately find I mainly stick with my rosehip seed oil and the PC oil. I like to mix the PC oil with the matrixyl product from NCN but I do use it by itself too. I like that the oil is one that can be mixed with other moisturizers or serums without affecting them. I am surprised at how much I like that oil. I hope you and RachB like it.
Glad to hear about the vit C spot treatment working well for the spots. I will have to go back and read the ingredients and see if my mom wants to give it a try. Hers are on the back of her hands so it should work there too I'd think. I just need to gently remind her to ALSO wear sunscreen there since all the lightening in the world doesn't do any good if you then forget to wear sunscreen.

In my opinion you can't go wrong with oil. Let us know what you like from the samples they send. My favorite cleanser is the Moisture Boost and my favorite moisturizer is the Skin Recovery moisturizer.

I think it was the Algae with the Skinn. I don't know what in the Ponds made me i*t*c*h. The scent was rather strong but it didn't bother me as bad as some others.
My favorite oils are Cranberry Seed and Marula. I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate the Skinn oil since I'm not using Retin-a. I was using it under the Retin-a. I do like that Paula's can be added to other things and it has cranberry seed oil in it.
