When will I learn

I was so excited that I was able to buy Perlier Olive Oil Shower Cream in September. It hadn't been offered in a long while. So I quickly ordered it in September. When it arrived I did not open the box. It was to be a Christmas gift. It is the only scent my husband really liked. So I was so happy I found it.

I just opened the box to wrap the Shower Cream and I was sent Shea Butter. AND there was no receipt in the box. I can not believe that the scent was switched.

I could kick myself for not opening the box. But it never occurred to me that I would not get what was ordered. You woul think at my advanced age I would learn to check before Christmas Eve.

@drizzellla - I'm very guilty of this, mostly at Christmas when I hide the boxes after marking who they are for

This year I made a point to check, and to try out anything that takes a battery.

So maddening!! I've done that a few times---once with a box of hair color--my normal, all the time color and brand and box---didn't check it out but slathered it on and it turned out a bright fire engine red !!!!! OMG🫨😵‍💫Wrong bottle of color in the box with all my normal info/color on it!!!!!!---washed with Dawn dish soap many times and went to the beauty shop and they lifted as much as they could out--but it was still.......red!!!! So I do now check the contents of the boxes ----

WOW! Was it someone's last day on their job? And they wanted to go out with a splash?

Seems like a huge color difference. That wasn't just an accident. Wonder if it happened to more people than you.
