I use my 3/4 Inch InStyler on my fine hair several times a week on the hottest setting. I've used curling irons most of my life. I find the hotter the setting, the fewer seconds I have to use it to get the results I want. If my InStyler died tomorrow, I would replace it immediately!

I purchased the 1 1/4" Instyler that can be used on damp hair .... and think it's really great. Of course, I would NEVER wash my hair and use it every day!

I have one that just won't curl my dry hair. I wouldn't dare use it on wet hair. I'm through with all products of this type

Me too! My hair looks so dull until I use it. I love the lift I get at the crown, along with the smoothness and shine! I almost got a CHI flat iron, but since I get such good results with the InStyler I passed.

Mine has also received that sentence to the bottom of the closet. And I received 50 lashes for being too dumb to return the thing. Worse purchase ever!

Thank you---but don't beat yourself up too much...I actually repeated the mistake and bought the TOPstyler---electric chair for the win!

I have the InStyler and what did not work for me is that the ""clamp"" part never closed tight enough. It was just a bad design...it was hot and you could not touch the end to try to close it so I could not get it to smooth/straighten my hair very well. I always ended up looking worse than when I started. Oh well.
