What was your first make up purchase?

The post about who taught you to apply make up brought back some great memories for me, thanks Lobstergal for starting it! I'm curious to know what your first ever make up purchase was? Mine was a Bonnie Bell Lip Smacker in Orange Crush. The jumbo one. I went to the local Thrifty's drug store and bought it with some of my babysitting money. I'm not sure if that totally counts as make up, but at the time, it seemed like make up to me. I remember seeing an ad for it in my older sisters Seventeen magazine and had to have this magical product.
