I can't wait to find something that works. I did have some pretty good results when I was on a strict diet. Unfortunately I have hit a slump with my diet right now. I'm generally into nutrition for the most part but sometimes have a hard time with it. I plan on going strict again but I'm leaving for vacation in a few days and I will wait till I get back. What I did was stay away from grains and gluten. I basically ate protein and veggies. I got my carbs from fruit and vegetables. No sugar and no alcohol. The no alcohol was hard. I love relaxing with a nice drink at night sometimes. Its amazing how rosacea has affected my life. I almost forget what it was like to not have it. I have a question for all of you. Most if not all people with rosacea wear sunscreen. I don't. Tanning seems to even out skin color. When I stop tanning in late august I go back to my red face on very pale skin. I know its also very bad fore to tan. But I have a very hard time quoting. I have tried self tanners with not much luck. How do you stay away from tanning. And yes I am scared of getting skin cancer. Some people just firmly don't tan. Its so hard for me. I tan once a week. Every year I try to stop. Its nice hearing what everyone has tried and what has worked and what hasn't worked. Wow. Could you imagine if one thing worked for everyone?!

You described me many years ago. I think I was addicted to tanning. No more. A few hideous bouts with precancerous lesions and one biopsy cured me.

Keep repeating to yourself that the sun is not your friend, and most definitely an enemy when it comes to rosacea. I wish you well, and I hope that you can break what I think is a form of addiction.
