Right now--am using Dr Nassifs brand. Have used Sunday Riley too. Not really sure why or what it's for---hopefully am using it the right way--in the a.m.

I have read that it is a good idea to change the products used, as over time they are less effective on your skin. Is this true and how often do you think they should be changed?
Right now I am using BeautyBio the Daily Vitamin C.

That's not necessarily true about having to change products. Many vitamin C serums on the market are made with a highly unstable form of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and that means it will degrade over time and become less effective so it needs to be replaced before it goes bad. Changing brands is not needed as long as the one you're using is fresh. There are other forms of VC that are more stable than others so some will last longer than others.

I decided to order the Proot since it was on sale. The best form of VC and close to 2 oz. for $12. That's unbeatable.

@JeanLouiseFinch - I'm working on a bottle of Timeless and have 2 bottles in the refrig as back-up so won't need Proot for a while. However, it is on my Amazon wish list. Will be looking forward to your impressions of it.

The last C serum I've used was Dr.Brenner.
I use it because it's supposed to help ...I've never seen any change in my skin, though.🤷♀️

Even if you're not seeing any changes in your skin's appearance after using VC serum, it's still protecting it with an antioxidant to help neutralize free radicals which are part of everyone's skin and especially in aging skin. Free radicals are the bits and pieces left over from cells dying and they die b/c of old age, sun, chemical and other environmental exposures. Free radicals rob the nutrients away, like magnets, from healthy living cells so the healthy cells struggle to stay alive longer. No one is immune to it. VC serum is sort of like having a life insurance policy for maintaining youthful skin.

@SilleeMee - weren't you using The Lab Power Punch Vit C at one time? I remember all of us talking about that brand one time. Maybe you were using one of the other products by The Lab.
