For those of you against animal testing for cosmetics, do you refuse drugs for treatment if you're sick?

Medicine is a necessity. Cosmetics and skincare are not. That's the difference. Personally, I don't recycle everything I possibly can, and I don't eat only fully organic whole foods...but that doesn't mean what I *am* doing in those areas isn't worth doing

I agree with you WenGirl42. I try to purchase cruelty free products. Not sure why this company did not know for sure. I would be hesitant to use the product. Some meds tested on animals and tried by humans have had bad results so I am not for testing meds on them either. I'll always remember the story told by Grace Slick and her bad experience with animal tested meds.

I appreciate everyone's thoughts and responses. It is interesting the different interpretations we have about it.

LOL, well as long as their products contain no animal testing. That clears it right up...
lol!

"To the best of our knowledge" and "unless required by law" turn me in another direction. I am committed to the animals as much I can possibly be. Sometimes things might slip through, but not many. Same with what I eat.
