I haven't bought many expensive items in a while, but EZ Pay has allowed me to get everything from a Kitchen Aid mixer for my friend's wedding to several beautiful handbags. If you're working within your expected monthly income, I think it's a terrific option to have available.

I bought 5 pairs of shoes/sandals. Didn't buy any new sandals last season, so figured I need something new (I can find any number of ways to justify this!)

I was really tempted but ended up passing. This month will be the last EP on some Perricone I got after Christmas so I thought I better stave off for awhile. I need to use it up anyway.

I agree, and furthermore I find it funny that some of the people who are so against EZ pay are also the ones who are so smug about "never" getting tax returns because they don't want to loan the gov't their money. But they're totally fine with loaning QVC their money by sending it months in advance of when it's actually required. As long as QVC offers me the EZ pay option on things I was going to buy anyway for exactly the same amount (i.e., an interest-free loan), I will continue to hold onto my money and put it to work for me for as long as I can before sending it to them. Like any other financial tool, it isn't bad in and of itself...it's all in how you use it.

I had one of those 5 e/p offers that was ending so decided on the PTR retinol duo. I was going to try Dr Gross's retinol but then saw someone here mention the PTR duo with free shipping. Great buy for two full sized products and loved the free s&h. Have also read so many positives about Fusion that I figured why not. A benefit to get the AM product with it.
I hope at some point that Dr Gross offers his retinol/ferulic serum and moisturizer as a TSV or at the very least, in a duo kit which would make them a better buy than getting separately. While I think I will like PTR's retinols a lot, Dr Gross's retinol/ferulic sound very interesting too. Guess it's nice to have some decent choices.
I definitely needed a new retinol product so don't feel like I purchased anything I wouldn't have bought otherwise. And the duo was a great buy. Also got some shrugs which I definitely need but kept it to just those items. I never use CC just debit ........... I prefer to keep my account with a certain amount of $$ in it at all times so I'll use easy pay occasionally just to make sure my balance remains where I want it to be.

I know you mentioned Dr Gross's retinol but PTR runs a sale once in a blue moon where you get travel size retinol for 5.00. Two bottles have more product than one regular size and it is 10.00. I go to his site periodically checking on it. I did get his new neuroliquid serum for 24.00 regular 70.00 or 80.00. When he has a sale someone usually will post it here. I am out of the retinol so I've been keeping an eye out for a sale.

Thanks. Kat for alerting me to that. I signed up for emails from his site around the holidays when he ran some great specials and he seems to have some special or two going at least every 2 weeks or so. I have not seen one for Fusion so far but am happy to know they are periodically discounted too. I wouldn't mind using the Neuroliquid serum again but stopped because I had some other serums to finish off after I used that up. I liked it but wasn't 100% sure if it really helped at the time. Now he has a companion cream for it and I tend to like duo formulas as I think you can see better results from them.
Thanks for the heads up.

Kat, I had been all set to buy Fusion as soon as I finished up my current retinol serum. I had been wanting to try PTR's for a long time. Then I saw Gr Gross's new one with the ferulic acid mentioned recently and thought, well maybe I'll give that a shot.
As it turned out, when I read about the PTR duo here yesterday, I decided to go ahead with that as I also remembered that the NCN C serum I use also contains ferulic acid. While I doubt my skin would have had any issue handling ferulic in two products, I also didn't think it was necessary. And that way, I could also use PTR's AM retinol product which is loaded with antioxidants as well. Between my NCN C and PTR's AM Fusion, I feel my skin will definitely have more ammo to fight the ravages of the ever present intense sun in the SW. And heading into the hottest and strongest sun months, that made real sense.
I am just glad someone mentioned the duo Fusion kit or I would not have known about it. It does help to read these BB for product deals which occasionally even QVC has. And free s&h on the duo which really made me feel good. I hate paying s&H!.
