Re: What did you use up this week? 12/27

@kathie66   Congratulations!  I retired April 1 this year, and I am just LOVING it.  I enjoyed my job and my coworkers, but it was time.  I hope you love it as much as I do.  Finally a great holiday without thinking of going back to work today.  šŸ¤£

I used up:

Miracle worker retinol pads.  Opened a Dr. Denese jar.  I think I like the Dr. D better.  But both work. Last jar in stash.

Bliss snow berry hand cream.  1 oz.  Loccitane is still my favorite, but this was fine.

That's all this week.  Wishing all the beauties a happy and healthy 2025.

Used up a Laura Mercier sample packet of Neroli Du Sud hand cream that came with a hand cream trio I ordered from Laura Mercier.

I finally used up my Strivectin Advanced Tightening Neck Cream. I've used it faithfully day and night since May and have seen no difference at all.

@MariotaMurielle  - Well that certainly is frustrating and disappointing.

I had the same experience many years ago, @MariotaMurielle.  If you're looking for another option, you can't go wrong with Gold Bond Neck & Chest Cream.  It's inexpensive and really works.

Re: What did you use up this week? 12/27

@kathie66   A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to you on your retirement.  My husband retired about 8 years ago and loves every second of it.  I'm still working and have no plans to retire yet.  ENJOY!

@JudyL  hoping things improve for you and that you are back up and running soon,  and at your best.

Threw out a few products that I was not using or were older.  Gave away some things that didn't work for me and were very gently used.  I have a few people who are happy to take what doesn't work for me.   I bought a Patrick Ta eyeshadow palette and HATE IT.  There is way too much fall out and I just didn't like the shadows.  Used it 2x .....  darn.  At least someone else will enjoy.

Have a great weekend.  HAPPY HOLIDAYS and NEW YEAR.  Hoping for less hate in the world in 2025.

Rried First Aid Beauty cleanser---not good for me  but my DD loves it. Found a tube of Dr Nassiffs cleanser and that is very nice. Am becoming a fan of his line

@nyc1  - Thank you for the good wishes re my recovery.  There is a part of me that wishes I had never had the knee replacement and just lived with my knee the way it was.  Although that really wasn't going to be a long term solution either.  But onward I go, doing the exercises and hoping things improve at some point.

I'm curious, which Patrick Ta eyeshadow palette did you not like?
