Hi Friends,

I am still going threw my stash of beauty items. I threw out some lipsticks, lip glosses, lip scrubs, and lip exfoliators that smelled off. I also added several skincare items to my daughter's bag of goodies.

32 oz. Philosophy Begin Again Tangerine 3 n 1this went to my son, he shopped my shower gel stash.

Used up:

Trader Joe's Orange and Ginger Handcream- this worked well and smelled nice, it was a tad more greasy than what I usually like. I used this up while visiting my daughter this week. She got engaged in August, we went to look at venues and dresses. She found both and set her date in January 2027! It was a wonderful whirlwind of a visit!

I am so very happy for her!

@kathie66  Congrats to your daughter and family.  Exciting she found a venue!  I enjoy a winter wedding.    

I used up:

Aveeno oat milk conditioner.  I liked this, but others in stash to use up. Opened a Dove conditioner.  

A belle lip crayon.  Have been using this on and off over a year.  It was a pretty pink, can't remember the name. Too many opened lip products.  I prefer crayons and balms to lipstick. 

Have a great weekend.  Chilly, but loving the Fall weather after our hot summer.

I used up a shampoo that I wasn't really fond of .....but I bought two tubes of it and deciding if I want to give away the second.  I believe it was Naturally Serious.......a division of Peter Thomas Roth and June Jacobs.

@kathie66 I try to do a review of opened and unopened stash quarterly. I haven't purchased much color cosmetics recently.

This week I'm on the last drops of the Sunday Riley Good Genes serum. I bought it at Q at a good value but they have not restocked it. Thought it would be a good opportunity to look at other options since the Good Genes is pricey when not a special.

HSN has the Active Argan Resurfacing Serum on special this week - supersize, BOGO. I ordered it and it should arrive by early next week. That will be at least a year supply. With the extended returns, I can give it a good test run for a couple of months to decide if I will keep or return.

With the Elemis TSV tonight I will be looking for specials - it's a good brand. I bought the Midnight Facial duo yesterday with the Friends20 coupon which made it an excellent buy.

Hi Beauties!

I finally did it!

Major Lipstick/Lipgloss Purge - The purge has begun with lips and cheek products, I got rid of a ton.  DH is glad too. I’m tired of holding onto so many makeup products out of guilt over the money I spent/wasted (RMS Legendary's and Tarte sets, in particular). He said the money was spent and forgotten long ago. I kept all of my LG Jelly Balms, LG Shine & Shield Glosses, RMS  Tinted Lip Balms, and RMS Liplights.  I’d know that still sounds like a lot, but you should see the trash can.

Doll 10 Cheek Flush Purge - I haven’t used them at all since I discovered RMS.  Pitched all I had (several).

Crest Travel Toothpaste - used up.  Won’t replace until we take another trip.

Crest 3-D White Brilliance Mouthwash - used up, replaced with Crest Pro Health Advanced Extra Whitening.

Skinn AM & PM Cleansers - finished up the tubes I still had.  ResumingPalmer’s Cleansing Oil and Vanicream Cleanser which I happily used in the past.

Good afternoon!  @kathie66 - Congratulations to your DD and your family on your DD's engagement.  How lucky she found her venue and her dress so quickly.

I used up:

CosRx - Alpha-Arbutin 2 Discoloration Care (serum).  I like this a lot and think it does help.  I apply it after my Vit C.  Replaced with same.

Tmeless - Dark Circle Eye Cream with HA & Haloxyl & Eyeliss. This was ok.  Didn't notice any difference. Won't repurchase.  Went back to my old favorite Mad Hippie eye cream.

PTR - Retinol Fusion PM Eye Cream.  Didn't really notice any difference.  Won't repurchase.  Went back to using Beauty of Joseon Retinal eye cream.  Use this at night.  Also have stopped using PTR's Retinol time released serum.  Been using it for quite a while and just not impressed  Won't repurchase and have cancelled my AD.  Went back to Naturium Retinaldehyde serum.  Should be here tomorrow.

Tossed:

Laura Geller - Eyebrow pencil.  Didn't work well for me.  Won't repurchase.  Have a couple that I'm trying out so will see how those work for me.
