I concur with everything everyone has said. If you want to spend less money, I just picked up a Sonia Kushak blush at target that is really really nice, and no shimmer.

Another drugstore brand that is very nice is Revlon PhotoReady cream blush that has no shimmer and comes in many nice, soft shades. My go to is Bobbi Brown Pot rouge in Blushed Rose and Powder Pink.

Elizabeth Arden's cream blush does not have any sparke! Using a light touch, the shades do not appear as dark/bright as they appear in the compact. The consistency is nice also!

not necessarily- there are ingredients in it like menthol that can be very irritating to skin.

There is absolutely no sparkle, glitter, or glimmer in their cream blush.
