So @fairydogmother brought up a good point about products having multiple uses.  What makeup/beauty products have YOU personally used for an unintended use?  I have a beautiful Lancome lipstick that I'm going to try as blush.  I only wear colored lipgloss and balms

I have used

bronzer for eyeshadow   

blush for eyeshadow   

eyeshadow for highlighter and blush   

And Fenty Diamond Bomb in "How Many Carats" to add some sparkle to       strategic areas on a beach/ocean art canvas

In the WEN forum we were just chatting about using hair and body products as facial masks. Works well because Chaz uses good ingredients.

Facial masks, as in applying his hair products on your face for a few minutes or overnight?  What do they do for your face/body?

I can remember using:

    A little body lotion in my hair

    Toothpaste to clean my sterling silver jewelry

    Burgundy/plum/ pink eyeshadows as blush

    Eyeshadow as highlighter

    Stick deodorant on my heels (to prevent blisters)

    Moisturizer mixed with foundation to make BB Cream

    Nude color lip gloss on my eyelids

    Bronzer on my arms and legs

Vaseline does wonders for beauty purposes and other things too.....

I do use Aquaphor for eczema flares.  When I don't have any, I reach for my vaseline. 

There are a couple of good youtube videos about what Vaseline can do to save you a lot of money.

I usually use my products as intended, but have used them in other ways from time to time. 

Bronzer as eyeshadow 

Blushes as lip color/lipstick setting powder

Lipliner as full lip color

Eyeshadow as contour 

Eyeshadows as eyeliner (a usual thing for me)

Eyeshadow as brow powder

Eyeshadow as highlighter

Rosewater mist as makeup setting mist

Toothpaste as jewelry cleaner 

Not beauty routine related, but I used to slice cinnamon rolls dough with dental floss

I can't really add anything new. I do use lipstick as cream blush, powder products can go anywhere (eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, highlighter).

I had a beautiful teal mascara that I used as eyeliner.

Tap a sparkly eyeshadow over a lipstick or gloss to add a bit of color & use a product I may not use much on my eyes.

It's makeup. It's fun!

I use Purity from Philosophy to hand wash delicates.  

I even have used white toothpaste to fill in small nail holes in walls when removing a picture (in an emergency) - aka rental.....
