I am torn between getting Smashbox's Contour Kit and Anastasia's kit....So just looking for opinions from those who use contour and what you are using!!!!!!!Thanks!I also see that Nars has one as well!

I just use a matte bronzer, currently BB in one of the light shades, works great. I am very fair and don't think a palette of several colors would be ideal for me. Plus too confusing lol

I ordered the Anastasia, and I am waiting for it. The only reason I ordered it is because of the contouring videos I have seen on YouTube. At first I guffaw over contouring, but it makes a serious difference-AND YOU NEED NOT LOOK LIKE KIM KARDASHIAN!! Subtlety is the key. That being said, I know I can handle creams . If you go onto Amazon, look up Ben Nye matte foundation. He has a palette with 12 foundations ran from very light to dark. They are highly concentrated and have a multitude of uses. For example, I am trying to minimize eye bags: the lightest foundations I need in order to do that are there. (....and a MAC #211 brush is getting me where I want). For contouring, the darker colors are there- and I can make it look natural-that is not always easy to do with powders. I have a couple of bronzer that I like as a color on my cheeks and forehead, but I have finally come to the realization that for me, they don't work so well as contour. Out of curiosity, have you watched any videos? Poodlepet

I've always just emphasized my cheekbones with a brownish blush, but I saw Tyra's contour and highlight sticks from HSN and ordered them to try something different. I've experimented some with them, like the silky consistency, but the contour stick is very sheer. I know you don't want it to show really, but you want something. It does blend very nicely. Might try putting a little more on and see how that works.

I am using and loving Charlotte Tisbury's Filmstar compact. Best news you can go overboard, it just a subtle inner glow.

I watched many you tube videos and decided to put the smashbox contour kit on my wish list but I don't have it.

I never did get to see the anastasia in person.

I am fair and would love to find a contour that is easy, goof proof and natural looking.

I have been using NYX mocha blush because I am fair and this is a subtle color. It is not yellow at all like bronzers can often be. For highlight I use either Physician's Formula powder that looks like pearls in a compact or Sonya Kashuk highlighting powder. Sonya's is very subtle and PF has shimmer. I may try the Too Faced bronzer that is on sale in a travel size for $10. It comes with a buki brush. I'm not sure where the set is located, but I've seen it on a blog.
