I had a most amazing zen ish experience today putting on my new BE Readys. The house was all closed up fending off the chilly day, kitties were all sleeping, TV wasn't even on for background and just a clock was heard ticking. Eerily quiet in the building itself. And my Ready Duos geared up for an near 1/2 & 1/2 face.

I'll tell ya, it was hard to decide. I ended up with the 2 Duos that surprised me the most. Never thought for a second that I'd have any interest in them. Like Lovie I put down Original primer. For me I can learn the colors, then expand with the newer colored primers. Brave as a lash to brow.

From Thurs. night playing, swatching and then Fri with V going over each one on BE.com some interesting 'dupes' have hit me to some of the Readies. We do this anyway when a new loose color comes out right? {why am I feeling guilty right now then?sheesh} I've not swatched the loose e/c as of yet to my immediate reaction of 'oh this reminds me of...' so take my 'suggestions' with a grain of salt right now, k?!

One side I put on Scenic Route. Lordy me will we ever learn all these names! lol! So down went Breathtaking. Reminded me of White Gold from Gold Rush. Beautiful, and took it up over the crease to out V. Spectacular, reminded me of HS Patina. This we had swatched at the Boutie. Spectacular was a little deeper, richer in color but worn, just not as deep maybe. Less green. And maybe because I'd layered over Breathtaking also. Still beautiful. Can't wait to try this color straight up like on Melanie on BE.com! Tightlined, did under top waterline with Black Coffee, lined near 360/winged with Sage, BnBs.

Other side I put on Vision. The light blue Illusion reminded me of Thoughtful from PG2 I put this down on the lid. Mirage, looks like Thursday from GMG. Love both colors. Worn they are not as similar. Beautiful. Lined with Black Sea BnB. I love it!

Both Duos once again paid off in color, pigmentation and oh my the blending is seamless. There was even color still in the brush for any additional taps down on the lid or extra blending. I darken the crease on Spectacular without ever tapping back onto the pressed shadow. I am loving these. Really LOVE.
