Wet 'n Wild sure has come a LOOOOOOOONG way since the 90s! LOL! I remember their 99 cent lipsticks and other poor quality makeup. I never was a fan.

Recently, I saw some of their products popping up on YouTube Beauty Guru videos. I thought what a scam, I guess they're just sending their products out for free trying to drum up some more business. But, I was curious anyway and checked out the reviews on makeupalley and was impressed, but skeptical about what I read.

I checked out the selection at Target and saw an eyeshadow trio called "Walking on Eggshells" which appeared to be really nice neutrals in the pan. I figured for $2.99 I'd give it a shot.

I seriously expected to throw this in the trash. Upon swatching on my finger, I could not believe the pigment WITHOUT primer. SERIOUSLY? I usually have to use eyeshadow primer just to get the color to show up even with some high-end eyeshadows. Velvety, pigmented and NOT CHALKY AT ALL. Seriously, I am SHOCKED.

Yes, the packaging is flimsy and I have to usually stick a pencil in to open the case, but for $2.99, I seriously just can't get over it. I bought a backup of it if they're ever crazy enough to discontinue it and I think I've only done that once in my life. LOL I know they sell bigger palettes so I'm really curious to try the rest of their line now.

I've been on a mission to try and save money by finding less expensive products after I run out of stuff and I've been really surprised at how long of a way drug store quality has come.

I'm now using Revlon ColorStay foundation instead of MAC - and I like it BETTER than the sample I have of Estee Lauder's foundation. I usually have a very difficult time with foundation and I'm really impressed with this stuff. Milani has been a great line, too, I love their Luminous blush and their Summer Baby gloss.

I still can't find a replacement for my Purity cleanser so I've given up on that hunt! LOL I like the Oily Sensitive Skin cleaner with Aloe but I use that in the morning and on days when I don't need to remove makeup.
