Help Wen users! Does it take a long time to rinse your hair clean of Wen? I don't seem to be able to get the shiny hair that I I get from other shampoos. I love the concept and beautiful scents.

Wen does nothing for me but it seems like you do have to rinse out a lot. It still does nothing for me. I only use the styling products.mgood luck.

Hello, guggenheim. Smile

Sorry, I don't know how to use WEN. But there's a WEN forum where the ladies there can help.

~Nick Chavez is my favorite vendor on QVC and Alberti Popaj is my favorite QVC host.~
Nick Chavez now has his own sub-forum under the My Favorite Brand folder

Hi guggenheim - with WEN you MUST use the recommended amount of product or your hair won't get clean or shiny. A two-step cleansing system is also recommended. And, yes, you must rinse long enough to get the product out of your hair. Using a WEN comb helps remove the product. Don't use too hot of water and right at the end of the rinsing process, finish off with a shot of cool water.

For me WEN takes a lot less time and costs less in the long run.

With the very best shampoo I have to shampoo, rinse shampoo again. Then I have to use Enphuse to repair the damage I've just done with the shampoo to keep it from breaking. Of ourse it has to settle in and that's at least another five minutes. That has to be followed by a heavy duty softening conditioner because too much protein will break your hair off too. The final rinse is followed by the keratin blow dry protectant and this by oils ta aid in straightening. Then- I can begin the styling.

I won't continue to bore you but I thought you might like to know exactly what is meant by the statement that WEN is time saving. I wholeheartedly agree with the members who insist you must follow directions One day, with one of our more animated hosts, Chaz, annoyed and trying not to show it, asked her to compare the feel of what he'd just twisted into his model's hair and what she'd just haphazardly smeared into her model's hair. He asked the host to feel the ends of both models sections of hair the two of them had been working. The host said " oh yes, I see". Chaz's model had silky smooth ends. You could see it, it had sheen and was smooth as glass. The host has succeeded in making a tangled mess of her model's ends. Like the matting behind a long haired dog's ears if you don't comb thru their wet hair. You wind up cutting the matted clumps out bc they cry if you pull and tug with a comb for too long.

The point is, you can use the same product that soeoe else has great success with ,but failure to follow procedure= mess. And you wonder why some customers saiy" it just didn't do anything for me"

Rinse, rinse, rinse, and then rinse some more. I've never used the 2nd cleanse but am sure to use the right amount the once.

I have not been very successful at rinsing Wen out of my hair. Yes, I have followed the directions and tried many different varieties. The first time I use it, my hair looks great, but the second or third time, it continues to build up and my hair looks terrible. I have to use regular shampoo to get it out.
