Re: Wen ..does it really work

🤕 Does Wen include a "gentle hint" regarding wreaking havoc with plumbing systems.

If you live in an apartment complex, you might want to carefully consider your options. Or make sure that you have renters' insurance.

Re: Wen ..does it really work

Having thick curly hair, I have tried everything.  Including Wen.  Nothing still gave me great results.  UNTIL the past few months, and I now use Wen but in a very  different way.  I wash my hair weekly with a clean curly girl shampoo (Raw Curls).  I then use  a tablespoon of Wen JUST as a conditioner, and rinse it out.  I don't use it as a leave in.  I then proceed with my styling products (not Wen) and lightly difuse.  I am happy!!

You could probably save a lot of money using a clean conditioner for a fraction of the price.

@Kitty Galore  - Why don't you go on the Wen forum under My Favorite Brand and ask Wen users?  All you're getting here are Wen-haters.  I'm a 10 year user and have had wonderful results.

No clogged drains, cysts, drain damage, bugs, or having to regrout my entire bathroom because of Wen.

Re: Wen ..does it really work

I have used WEN for several years.  I like it but it does weigh my thin fine hair down day 2.  I cleasne every other day but I also alternate with Beekman and Tweaked shampoo when I want my hair to be bouncier for an extra day.  No problem with clogged drains.  I just think all the models they show have beautiful hair to begin with, not as a result of using WEN.  I have nice think hair when I was younger but as you age it does thin.  Herediary.....

And I have seen photos over the years of your hair @San Antonio Gal . Always beautiful, thick and shiny.

I have used Wen after I shampoo and it is an excellent conditioner. I have oily hair so it doesn't deep clean enough for me but as a conditioner it is wonderful for my blond hair. It gives me shiny hair and most blonde hair does not shine.

Just wanted to add what a genuinely nice person Chaz is. He is equally as nice at his salon and a great human being.💐🥰

Re: Wen ..does it really work

I enjoy Wen alternating with other shampoos and have had no problems with Wen. I like the travel packs and just ordered two treatment oil bottles, cucumber thyme and fig sweet orange. Already have the rosemary n thyme and smells heavenly. Years ago I tried a dupe named Hair One it only dried out my hair. Wen leaves my long hair soft n shiny.

Re: Wen ..does it really work

@Kitty Galore I tried Wen about 3 times. The results were always the same. And I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed some more.

The results were always the same. I had flat greasy hair. The first time I used it, was right before I went to work. People did a double take when they looked at me. But no one had the nerve to say anything. I couldn't wait for the day to end.

To put it nicely, I looked hideous.

You are welcome to my bottle of Wen. There is still tons of it left. I told my family they were welcome to use it. So far no one touched it.
