I was on the Chaz Dean website chatting:

Me: Before I forget: I would love for GR to sell oils!

Britt B: Maybe someday! Unfortunately, we don't have control over it Smiley Sad

What is this? I don't understand.

Does anyone have insight?

(Assuming that "Britt B." is a member of Team Wen) I think it's pretty self-explanatory; Chaz Dean has no control over what Guthy Renker chooses to sell. He may have the ability to provide GR all of the products that he and/or QVC offers, but it's GR's decision as to which products they want to distribute. It's business; this happens all of the time. GR is in business to make money, and their business model may be focused on offering a streamlined product line (and products that they can make the most profit on). There are dozens of legitimate reasons that they don't offer oils........I'm just glad that I'm fully stocked on them for now! :-)

Dox, thanks.

I thought that as the owner of Wen, Chaz had full control over what gets distributed with and through whom.

GR is no different than a store, the store orders the products they determine will sell in their store.

I think they actually manufacture as well using the re formulation that Chaz did for them. If they were going to do that for oils, they would really have to specialize production lines more, I would guess. Plus, it would be that much more difficult considering they would be trying to stock so many locations abroad.

KJ, I forgot they manufacture as well.

Hilary, I'm getting FTP with my next GR delivery. I am so looking forward to the reviews on it!

This is not the monthly Wen Chat. I am referring to a chat I had with Wen.

I saw this on the trio set that is $71. It was part of the directions. "How do I use it: Rinse hair thoroughly and completely for one minute. Apply 8-10 pumps to the crown and 8-10 pumps to the nape/back of the head. Massage vigorously into scalp for two to three minutes and add an extra splash of water to help evenly distribute through to the ends. Depending on the length of your hair, add a remaining 10-20 pumps through the mid-shafts and ends. Comb through with a wide-tooth comb and clip up hair for the remainder of your shower. Leave on for at least three to five minutes. The longer you leave it on, the better the results. Rinse thoroughly and completely for one to two minutes by massaging your scalp and running your fingers through to the ends." This is exactly how I use it. I always do two cleanses, so I split the amounts in half. I use 4 on the crown, 4 on the nape, and 1 on the ends. My hair is pretty short with layers right now. I just thought this was interesting. I have never seen the directions written exactly like this before. I also thought it was interesting that it said to add the splash of water before you add the rest of the cc to the ends. I always add the splash of water after I put it all over my hair.
