Mistakenly bought a mega huge 40 oz bottle of fructis color shield conditioner from Sams thinking i had picked up the shampoo..... (knowing if i was only going to use wen as a conditioner and not the cleanser for $$$ sake.... remembered someone mentioning somewhere on here that fructis is less of a bad shampoo). Another poster had suggested using just a store-bought conditioner as a CC so after i brought that home I decided i would try it. I still cannot believe a conditioner can clean your hair but it does !! I used this yesterday and today and I have the same body as my wen cc but i definitely notice less hair coming out onto my hands in the shower but i can still comb through my hair with ease. If i can't afford wen then i think i will stick with this as my CC. i even left a "pump" of this in as a leave in but i did use my normal (about the size of 2-3 peas) pump of wen styling creme. and the funny thing is i had commented on how cool i think the wen is that after it sits on your head it kind of "expands".... the same thing happens with this fructis conditioner so there is something common that makes that happen........ i definitely love a cleansing "conditioner" no matter who makes it....... i hope to get a special on the pom during his june visit and be able to alternate just to make it a little more affordable...... b/c i definitely have to "cleanse" everyday...... but i will add my scalp didn't feel as dirty at the end of the day with the fructis as it did with the wen SAM. i'll also be interested to hear about the new formula he is introducing. love these forums..... people give such great suggestions .
