Waterproof

I have never found a waterproof mascara or eyeliner that doesn't smudge. Do the vendors not test these on people prior to releasing the product? I am still on the hunt.

None of my waterproof mascaras smudge. Maybe it is the shape of your lashes and how they hit your eye area or your eye cream.

One of my favorites is Maybelline Colossal Cat Eye Waterproof. Brush takes a bit of getting used to.

I have very oily skin and I do use a primer and both my liner and mascara smudge by mid day. Is there anything that is really waterproof?

I'm also oily and what works for me with waterproof eyeliner is to use e.l.f. eyelid primer on both my lids and underneath my lower lash line. Right now I mainly use Jordana 12 Hr Made to Last liquid eyeliner and it stays put throughout the day for the most part.

I don't use waterproof mascara so I can't speak to that.

happy ~ I can't wear waterproof because of my oily skin. The oil in my skin acts as a makeup remover. Maybe that's your problem too? I do much better with non-waterproof, water-based mascara and cosmetics. L'Oreal Million Lashes and Maybelline Volume Express do not smear or smudge on me.

Have you ever tried Avon wash off waterproof mascara? It is my favorite and I have used it for years. It was on sale this week for $2/ea. You may want to try that. It lasts and I use it on the bottom instead of another liner just kind of smushing it against my lower lash line and no smudges. I will not use any other so I was excited to see this sale.

Try Anastasia Real Genius. It will waterproof any mascara and it makes your lashes look longer and there will be NO smudging even if you fall asleep in it. I really love it. I even used it n my brows. I use BB Gel Liner and Lancôme which have good staying power. All three products last through "The Notebook", lol.

I have been using Maybelline Waterproof for years with great success. For the past couple of years having been using the Colossal in the yellow tube. It keeps my lashes curled and does not flake or smudge.
