Re: Watching consult beauty....

I thought Heather's skin looked pretty average myself.  When they did a close up, I wouldn't say her skin was anything to write home about so I wouldn't go running to buy those products based on what her skin looked like.

When she applied the BB cream or tinted moisturizer, whatever they called it, a woman asked about it settling into lines and wrinkles.  Heather had them come super close with the camera and smiled hard which revealed typical lines around the eyes, etc.

Heather is only 48 so I'm not sure why people think she should have wrinkles, sagging, furrows, etc.

@Lipstickdiva  I agree! I watched for just a few minutes, and I thought her skin doesn't look that great. It doesn't look bad, but considering she has been using those products, so she says for years, her skin really isn't that great. I am quite sure she has had fillers and botox as well.

Re: Watching consult beauty....

YOU'RE RIGHT ABOUT THE FILLERS.  THESE TWO REMIND ME OF DR. PHIL AND ROBIN.  THEY BOTH SWEAR UP AND DOWN THAT ROBIN HAS NOT HAD ANY PLASTIC SURGERY, BUT THEY FAIL TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT HER FACE IS FULL OF FILLERS.  NO ONE LOOKS THAT GOOD AT 63!  I FOR ONE, WOULD HAVE THEM IF I COULD AFFORD THEM; HOWEVER, THEY ARE IN THE PUBLIC EYE AND SHOULDN'T TRY TO DECEIVE THEIR AUDIENCE, ESPECIALLY SINCE SHE SELLS SKINCARE PRODUCTS TOO.  A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL THINK THAT THEY CAN LOOK LIKE HER WITH JUST HER PRODUCTS.

Re: Watching consult beauty....

I like some of their products, such as the retinol pads, the skin polish really works great, the volumegen EYE CREAM, I did like the serum too. I stopped buying the retinol cream , (which worked nicely)because of poor , low volume packaging. I've used the caviar cleanser too, thorough. I also use and got good results from the retinol serum, 3 percent. Personally, I think they both have very nice skin. I don't care about botox, good for her. I DO read ingredients and judge from there. If they claim a product is full of plumping hyaluronic, and I see it low on the list..I don't buy. I see many here are bothered by Heather...I wouldn't let that interfere...I kinda like her and think she's just straight forward. As with ALL the skincare vendors, they've got their own hype...some products just plain stink, and some really work. Now, that Champagne lift line, got terrible reviews...yet they claim they sold out twice...that one, I don't believe... Evines got to get rid of stock. Overall, I don't think anything bad about them, and I use a few things and have moved on to others. Right now I'm liking Beekman EYE CREAM (and Shisiedo benefiance). They don't have a retinol, so I'm staying with consult beaute for now.
