"It" is not the only product line with this problem. Heard the same about WEN and other beauty lines. There are numerous complaints about products that are "free" except for shipping and handling charges. Buyers purchase using their credit card and then are automatically charged for continuous orders with a lot of grief trying to cancel. Thanks for posting and making people aware of this scam.

I order direct from It Cosmetics site with no problems. She does has a link on her site As Seen On TV you can click on to buy this. It is through Guthy Renker.
I clicked on the As Seen On TV. It has 2 options a 7 pc kit for $49.95 or a 5 pc kit for $39.95. If you click on one of those & follow their step by step ad you will see at the end during checkout that both kit prices are for Introductory sizes. If you click on Full Size the prices change & you end up paying 3 monthly installments. The lower price is only good for Introductory products. You have to look at all the small print. All these As Seen On TV ads are like this.
Below is a pic of the Installment plan for the 5 pc full size products. See option to pick 1 kit or Full Size kit in the drop down menu under the Beautiful You Collection in red print. Sneaky advertising. I know it's there I just have to find it. I guess the drop down menu is not showing up right but you can see it on her site.
IT Cosmetics Full Size 5-Piece Beautiful You Collection, Medium Shade.

O M G. Never order anything from GR. Run far far far away as fast as you can.

@Perkup wrote:I've been very interested in Bye Bye Foundation, but would not order through GR. Wish QVC could or would get the product. But I'm also wondering if there is really a difference in Bye Bye Foundation and Jamie's CC Cream, as the product packaging is the same. If they aren't the same, then I wish QVC would get the product. It sounds great, seems to cover beautifully and I don't really care for Jamie's other foundations.

@Perkup, you have posted this numerous times, and every time I see it, I reply to you that you can buy the new foundation ON THE IT COSMETICS SITE. You do not have to buy it from GR, so I don't see the problem.
In fact, you would not be charged shipping on the brand's website, but you would if QVC carried the foundation and you purchased it here.

@vandyfan, why did you return it? I've been interested in that foundation so would love to hear what you didn't like about it. TIA!!!

If you order ANY product shown on tv or advertised in print from a marketing firm you are doomed. Once you give that credit card number, they have you. You know what they say - if it's too good to be true......... Live and learn. I was lucky enough to hear the stories about this years ago and never did it myself. I don't know how this is even legal.

I just did a fake order online, via GR's "try it now" website. The shipment terms and installment chargess are clearly stated in the Order Summary BEFORE entering payment information. There's also a box to check, agreeing to terms and conditions. Terms and conditions have a link that should be read before clicking the check. It has information about charges, returns, refunds, and cancellations along with other legals stuff. What we don't know is if the OP actually returned the products. If she didn't, she is obligated to the full amount charged.

@JeanLouiseFinch - You are right!! I checked this out months ago. The terms and installments are clearly stated. The $39.95 kit is for the mini trial sizes, not for full sized items. You have to read the fine print and check off boxes that you agree to all the terms, etc. before you can process the order. It's all there in black and white, which is why I would never order a full size kit for $149 to be paid in installments!

In the OP picture, it clearly tells how much each installment plus shipping. No bait and switch, you just have to know what you are agreeing to.

I'd hold Jamie responsible for partnering with shady Guthy-Renker.
