I already use Retin A at night, and take a collagen peptide in morning.
Do any serums help with collagen on the facial area....have any of you used and liked?? Please advise me...thank you!!

The only serum I use is Beekman's Vitamin C serum which I love! Not to go off topic here and I'm not sure if this would help at all but I recently discovered Nuetrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel moisturizer and I am blown away by the results! I was in a hurry one morning and also used it on my neck and it works better than my Prai neck cream which I really like.........@SilleeMee is the person to ask.

Retinoids, vitamin C and niacinamide will all increase collagen production when applied to the skin.

Topical Vitamin C will also help build collagen. As for an actual collagen serum, I've been using one from Lab Direct and another from CosRx. Do they really work any magic? I'm sure the RetinA and a good Vitamin C serum do more, but I like my collagen serums for surface plumping.

@Dazlin @JeanLouiseFinch @LindaSal @SilleeMee
I use all of them mentioned so far, but the one I see the most immediate results with is Matrixyl.

I use C serum too, and sunscreen 🙂...just been thinking if I should add another serum/peptide.
My derm suggested laser or microneedling, professionally done if I want to help boost collagen, elasticity plus added benefits they may add...figured I'd ask about a serum 1st

@LTT1 , I haveTimeless Matrixyl...I stopped using it because I use retin A at pm, then C in am, so I honestly didn't know when to combine Matrixyl or if it's needed...I didn't know it helps collagen either.

I like Algenist Liquid Collagen serum. also, Pacifica makes an entire line of various products that all use Vegan Collagen. Good ones to try, not saying any are miracle workers.

Collagen molecules in serum are too big to penetrate the skin. Collagen is protein and with any protein it holds moisture so it's a good moisturizer...helps keep the skin plump so fine lines and wrinkles are less visible. Topical collagen does not build collagen in the skin.
